it’s raining…

I’m feeling quite at home in this rain.  

Makes me wonder if I’m not meant to live in Washington.  

Honestly, I’ve missed the dreariness (is that a word/is that how it’s spelled?)  

Even though it’s still warm outside, something about the overcast skies and sitting in a little coffeeshop with a warm drink and listening to Billie Holliday makes me so happy.

oh.my.gosh.

I can usually appreciate when artists remake others’ songs.  However I’m pretty sure, actually I’m very sure, Leona Lewis just butchered several classic songs on her new EP. 

Sorry.. but let Nine Inch Nails, Johnny Cash, Goo Goo Dolls, AND Counting Crows have their own songs.  There was no reason to redo several songs that could stand on their own two feet without a cover.
